Local Doctor Saves Boy While On Vacation In Florida

Posted: Updated:

A Philadelphia doctor, on vacation with his family in Florida saves a young boy's life!

Cardiologist Amir Siadatan was at the hotel pool at the Ritz-Cartlon in Key Biscayne. That's right off the coast of Miami.

Suddenly, a 5-year-old boy was floating face-down in the water and started to turn blue.

The doctor jumped into action and started doing chest compression for a whole minute.

Then, finally came a sign of life.

"When he came around, I grabbed his mom and just like – it's a different feeling," Siadatan said. "A young kid, bringing him back is the best thing that can happen to any physician."

Paramedics rushed the boy to the hospital, where he is recovering.
