Ask Allison: Paternity in doubt

Posted: Updated:

On this edition of Ask Allison, a viewer writes, “I have been married for almost ten years and have three sons I love to death. But I have the feeling my middle son, who is named after me, is not my child. Should I not worry about it since he's 13 or find out through DNA testing? It's been in my head for years, but I am afraid to find out. I would be devastated if he is not my son. Help me please.” Cindy Crane, a clinical therapist with Crane Counseling in Bethesda, Md., joins us for her expert opinion on this family dilemma.
