Ga. Department of Health offers free kits to help quit smoking

In conjunction with the Great American Smokeout, the Georgia Department of Health is providing help for people want to quit smoking and stop using tobacco products.

The Georgia DPH is offering a free four-week supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy to Georgia tobacco users 18 and older. The supply includes patches and gums, while supplies last.

Those interested can call Georgia Tobacco Quit Line at 1-877-270-STOP (7867).

Grant money from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was used in this program.
