BENSALEM, Pa. -

Police in Bucks County say a man already accused of sexually assaulting five teenage girls as a juvenile now faces charges of two other assaults since becoming an adult.

Bensalem police say all seven of the victims who have come forward were between the ages of 14 and 16 at the time of the alleged assaults.

And police say they "believe there are many more."

Josh Benson, 18, of the 2100 block of Brown Avenue, has been held at the Edison Juvenile Detention Center. He faces sexual assault and related charges, police say. He turns 19 in two weeks.

"In many of the cases the suspect would befriend the victims by meeting them on a dating website or through other people," police said in a news release. "This has been occurring for the past several years. Over the course of a few weeks of befriending them the victims would trust him and at some point agreed to have a sexual encounter. Almost immediately when the sexual encounter began the suspect became physically violent. The victims became terrified and asked him to stop, however the suspect became more violent by physically restraining them and continued the sexual assault."

Police say that, on at least one occasion, Benson is accused of forcefully raping a teenager.

The 18-year-old suspect was arraigned Thursday in front of Magisterial Judge Joseph Falcone and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $5 million bail.

He's being transferred from the juvenile holding facility to Bucks County Prison.

Bensalem police are asking any victims who have not come forward yet to please contact Det. Chris McMullin or Det. Dave Nieves Jr. at 215-633-3719.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
