A man who police say was part of a group of men posing a water department employees to force their way into a home during a early morning home invasion has been arrested.

The Bartow County Sheriff's Office arrested 24-year-old Mathew Grant Wall, of Powder Springs. They say he was one of two men who knocked on the door of a home on Lynn Circle and told residents they were from the Acworth Water Department around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 29.

Investigators say once the door was opened, they held the two residents at gunpoint and forced them to the ground on their stomach. One of the victims was repeatedly kicked before both were tried up.

The pair made off with several valuable items from the home. None of the items have been recovered yet.

Wall is being held in the Bartow County Jail without bond.
