Error In Bible Label Stirs Controversy

A California pastor wants a retail giant to change its ways about how it labels the bible.

Pastor Caleb Kaltenbach was browsing through Costco when he spotted The Good Book labeled under fiction.

He immediately snapped a photo and tweeted it, causing a firestorm on social media.

"It was labeled fiction and it stuck out to me because I've never seen a bible labeled fiction," Kaltenbach recalled. "I believe it was a mistake. I don' believe there is some kind of evil genius behind the scenes."

A spokesperson for Costco says the label was a mistake and that the store removed the mislabeled bibles. He also says that the CEO is a devout Catholic who loves the Lord.

Several conservative groups approached Kaltenbach, wanting to organize a boycott against Costco. However, he says he shot it down, saying he believed it was an honest mistake, and he plans to shop at Costco again.

On his twitter, he wrote, "I believe Costco when they said it was an error. Hopefully God uses this topic to spark conversations on faith & His Word."
