Man Uses A Baby Stroller To Steal Items At Walgreens

Police are looking for a man who tried to steal from a Walgreens on North Broad Street in Hunting Park.

Surveillance video shows him going into the store Monday morning, pushing a young boy in a stroller.

He was caught with extra items at the cash register and when he was confronted by the store employee and a security guard.Things got violent.

In the video, you can see him fight his way out of the store as an employee tried to block him from leaving.

Investigators describe the suspect as a black male, medium to dark complexion, 40 years old,6'2", 180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray knit cap and dark pants.

The employee says he pulled out a knife before taking off.

No word on if the young boy was harmed during the incident.
