Redford police say the suspects were running guns, literally. Neighbors called reporting three black men running through a backyard with long rifles. A K-9 unit picked up their scent and tracked them to a house. Officers surrounded the house and some of the suspects gave up and came out. One refused, prompting the State Police SWAT team to take over. He was also arrested and stolen guns were found inside the house including a long rifle withe a scope, a 12-guage shotgun and other weapons.

Some neighbors were unable to get to or from their homes during the standoff. Three people were arrested and three were detained for questioning. No word yet on charges.
