Todd Stroger running for Cook Co. Board

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Former Cook County Board president Todd Stroger wants back in the game.

He told a class Thursday night at Roosevelt University that he's running for a seat on the Cook County Board.

Stroger lost his bid for re-election as board president back in 2010.

Stroger is challenging Stanley Moore. Moore filled the seat vacated by Bill Beavers when he was sent to prison on a corruption conviction.

The Democratic primary is March 18.
