PHOENIX -

It doesn't look like much, but this new mobile device actually plays live TV and you don't need to have an internet connection or wi-fi- access.

Just about everyone can watch TV online with the internet of course, but times are changing.

"If you try to watch TV at a coffee shop to watch via wi-fi- it's going to cost you money.  This does not need wi-fi- and definitely won't use up your data cap which is something in this economy that consumers don't want to deal with," said Erik Moreno.

"Sounds like a great idea, but I don't have any of these new fancy devices yet.  You know what I mean, I just have a simple telephone," said Daniel Smith.

A simple smartphone is what you need.  These folks took a look at the Dyle device for the first time.  Some admitted to not watching TV anymore, while others admitted they still love TV.

So here is how this works: first, you set up the Dyle TV Audiovox mobile device out of the box and set it up near your mobile device whether it be an iPad, iPhone or some type of Android device and then you go to the Dyle TV mobile app and then of course, gives you a list of the channels available in your area.

This is all without broadband or any internet connection.

No cable channels are available yet.  Right now, it's just local programming.

The unit costs about $100 and you can purchase it on Amazon.com or at Radio Shack.
