PHILADELPHIA -

Rapper A$AP Rocky made an appearance Tuesday in a Philadelphia courtroom on a civil matter related to an alleged assault.

The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is accused of hitting a fan at this year's Made in America Festival over Labor Day Weekend on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

A woman says the 24-year-old slapped her in the face while he was walking through the crowd

He reportedly slapped another woman at a show in Australia earlier in the summer. However, she did not press charges.

Only FOX 29 News was there as A$AP and his defense attorney, Brian McMonagle, walked into court and later walked out without comment.
