DETROIT (WJBK) -- Detroit police say a suspicious package left at a People Mover station in Detroit did not pose a danger to the public.

Police cleared the Times Square station located between Cass and Washington Blvd. Monday morning to investigate a suspicious backpack.

Bomb squad members detonated the package, which turned out to be nothing.

No one was injured and passengers have since returned to the station.
