CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Part of the Lemont oil refinery damaged by a huge fire could be back online by the end of next week.

Citgo officials say they're moving to restart the damaged unit.

The fire burned for hours late last Wednesday and residents could see it from miles around.

The refinery has been able to produce gas from oil already in its system, but until the damaged unit is back on, it can't bring in any new oil.

The refinery produces gas for the Chicago area and states across the Midwest.
