TEMPE, Ariz. -

There are new details in the investigation into the death of Adrienne Salinas -- the 19-year-old Tempe woman who disappeared on June 15.

Her remains were found two months later in Apache Junction -- some 30 miles away from where she was last seen.

Salinas was supposed to take a cab from Tempe to see her boyfriend in Scottsdale, but the young college student never made it.

For nearly two months, her family canvassed the neighborhood, hoping someone saw something that night that could help bring her home.  But on August 12th, Adrienne's body was found in a wash in Apache Junction.

On Friday, the medical examiner released an autopsy report.  Unfortunately, it does not reveal much.

Family members were hoping this report would give them some answers as to what happened to Adrienne.  But it turns out the medical examiner couldn't figure that out and the official cause of her death is still undetermined.

"It's really frustrating for the whole family," said Adrienne's cousin, Anisa Salinas.

Adrienne's family is still waiting for answers, still wondering what happened to her on June 15th.

The last person she spoke with was a cab driver on the phone who she called after her car broke down.

"We don't know those details and the cab driver.. we don't know why they were on the phone for so long and how come she didn't show up and there's just a lot of questions we have," said Anisa.

Police have no suspects at this point and this autopsy report doesn't fill in the gaps.
The report says the examiner had an incomplete set of skeletal remains, meaning part of her body is still missing.

Several parts of the report were blacked out.  Some details, like the fact that there was pink nail polish on her toes were in the report, but other details were redacted.

Toxicology results show Adrienne had marijuana in her system at the time she died, but the examiner noted he did not find any trauma on her body -- no signs of how she could have died.

Family members believe someone killed her.

"We really want to find who did this and if that person's watching I'd really encourage him to turn himself in because you're living with this every day and you would bring closure to a lot of people," said Anisa.

Now that the autopsy has been completed, Adrienne's family hopes they can lay her to rest soon.  Instead of planning a party for her 20th birthday next month, they are planning her funeral.  They're asking for help and an account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank: #5779742948.
