29 arrested after disturbance at Julian High School

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

29 teens were arrested after a "disturbance" at a Far South Side high school Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a "disturbance" at Percy L. Julian High School, 10330 S. Elizabeth St., about 10 a.m. and numerous arrests were made, according to police.

Officers were able to bring the situation under control and arrested a total of 29 people -- three females and 26 males, police said.

Charges against the teens have not been finalized as of late Tuesday, police said.

Details on the nature of the disturbance were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.
