There was a big leathery feeling four legged surprise for shoppers at a particular Walmart in Orange County Saturday night. There was an alligator out for a late night stroll and possibly some Cheetos.
Well, maybe the six foot gator wasn't there for a snack, but he was owning the area as he camped right outside the Walmart on Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka. Apopka Police were called, so they did their due diligence to keep onlookers away from the reptile.
The gator's presence was so prevalent, the store even had to close it's doors for a while. However, this all eventually faded, because much like most of the crowd, the gator eventually got bored and walked away.
At that point, Walmart was reopened and business resumed as usual.
