PHILADELPHIA -

The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two suspects who shot a 38 year-old male in Hunting Park.

The incident occurred on September 5, 2013, at midnight, outside of the Ho May Chinese Restaurant, located on the 4400 block of North 5th Street. Police say the victim was assaulted when he sat inside his vehicle. He was shot one time in his left thigh.

Surveillance video was recovered from the area that shows two unknown male suspects approaching the victim's vehicle. Surveillance also captured an unknown female that was sitting inside the restaurant just prior to the shooting, was outside at the time of the shooting. It is unclear at this time if this female was involved with this shooting, says police. She is wanted for questioning at this time.

Here's what authorities describe the suspects as:

Suspect #1 is a black male, 20-25 years-of-age, with a thin build and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt. He has dark shorts with a white strip down the leg and sneakers.

Suspect #2 is a black male, 20-25 years-of-age, has a thin build and dark complexion. He had a goatee in the video and wore a red/orange baseball cap, black zip up hooded sweatshirt, grey shorts and grey sneakers. His sneakers look like they don't have shoelaces.

The black female who police want to talk to is approximately 18-23 years-of-age. She has light complexion, wears a light-colored scarf wrapped around her head. She also has a grey zip up hooded sweatshirt over a light-colored shirt, and she wears green pants and white and black shoes.

If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately. You can also submit a tip to 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
