Thursday's Glee to honor Cory Monteith's memory

Posted: Updated:

The cast of Glee will honor Cory Monteith in an episode that airs Thursday, October 10 on FOX 5.  The young actor spent four seasons playing the part of quarterback Finn Hudson on the hit show, and when he passed away in July, the cast, crew and fans were devastated.

On Thursday, the show will address his passing through the passing of his character.  Star Jane Lynch said the show will take place after Finn's memorial, and while the characters won't talk about exactly what happened to him, they will address how they're dealing with their loss.

"I'm so glad we did this episode," Lynch told Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken in L.A. recently.  "It's also one of the most beautiful things ever written."

The episode airs at 9 p.m. Thursday on FOX 5.
