FLORENCE, Ariz. -

A former ranch hand for a home in Winkelman, Arizona has been found guilty of sexual conduct with a 4-year-old minor.

During the time Fernando Almanza was employed at the victim's ranch, he mended fences and tended to the animals.

On October 22, 2011, Almanza lured a 4-year-old girl to an isolated part of the ranch and sexually violated her.

The little girl later told her mother that the ranch hand touched her and had sharp nails.

After a forensic exam and thorough investigation, Almanza was charged and prosecuted.

Almanza will be sentenced on November 8, 2013 and faces a mandatory life sentence in prison with the possibility of parole after 35 years.
