Bartender gets $17,500 tip after picking lucky lottery ticket

Posted: Updated:

A bartender in Oregon just got the tip of a lifetime

She was working behind the bar when one of her regulars gave her two Keno tickets.

One ticket was worth $5. The other was worth $17,500!

"it just took me off guard. You don't ever expect anything like that. It's like fantastic. I just kind of teared up and got misty eyed," said lucky bartender Aurora Kephart.

The man who gave her the tickets wishes to remain anonymous.

He asked her to pick two of his tickets as her tip and she picked the right one.

The customer wouldn't take back the ticket but Aurora did share the winnings.
