Charges Expunged From Cop's Record After Post-Parade Incident

PHILADELPHIA -

A Philadelphia police officer caught on camera striking a woman during last year's Puerto Rican Day Parade has his criminal record expunged.

The incident involving Lt. Jonathan Josey was captured on a YouTube video.

Josey was charged simple assault, but found not guilty, and an arbiter ruled he must be reinstated.

He was given his job back with back pay last month.

Now, all of those charges have been removed from his permanent record.
