Phoenix Police say a dead body was found in the street near Roeser Road and 24th Street late Thursday night.

Witnesses reported seeing a man's body in the roadway at around 11:30 a.m. and when officers arrived, they found the man was dead.

Gunshots were reportedly heard in the area, but police haven't found any witnesses to what they're calling a homicide.

The man is described as 23-years-old and Hispanic, but he hasn't been identified yet.
