NEW YORK, NY -

You've seen the video: a road rage incident in New York City goes viral. At least two people have been under arrest, and investigators say more arrests could be coming.

However, several of those motorcyclists say that they're being unfairly blamed. FOX's Lisa Evers spoke exclusively with those bikers who say that the driver of the Range Rover should also face charges.

Edwin Mieses of Boston lies in intensive care at St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital with two broken legs and other serious injuries. Fellow riders say that he's the one who was run over by the Range Rover in the shocking video.

It all started when one rider, identified as Christopher Cruz, who's under arrest, slowed down and was allegedly tapped by the SUV.

Berger "Choppa" Matthew, a construction worker, says he's the one seen in the video trying to open the door of the SUV.

He talks exclusively with FOX.

"In the beginning, it was a genuine accident. What he did, what the range rover driver did, was an act of road rage."

Matthews claims that they were worried that the SUV driver would hit someone else, so they chased him up one of New York City's busiest highways. Matthews claims that he's running up to the door, trying to pull out the keys so no one else would be hit. If you look on the right side of the Range Rover, you can see that it knocked another rider off his bike. He asked us to protect his identity.

"As he took off, he hit me and just kept on going. Once he hit me off my bike, I got angry and I chased after him," this biker said.

Moments later, the rider who was knocked off his motorcycle by the Range Rover confronted the driver and hit the window with his helmet.

"Two minutes prior to that, this guy almost took my life from me and I'm the aggressor because I smashed the window," he said. "Payback for him hitting me off my bike...he hit me off my bike."

He insists he sped off when the video cuts off, and did not strike the driver. Police Commissioner Kelly would not say for sure if the Range Rover driver, Alexian Lien, who had his wife and infant in the SUV with him, would be charged.

"It depends on what the circumstances are. It depends on whether or not the vehicle was being attacked, whether or not you think you're being attack, whether or not your wife and child are in the car. You have to look at the totality of the circumstances and that's what we're doing," said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

The New York Police Commissioner says that most motorcycle riders abide by the rules of the road. However, he adds that police received more than 200 911 calls about this particular group of riders, who come from all over the country.
