GILBERT, Ariz. -

We've seen the dramatic aftermath of that deadly car crash into a medical building in Gilbert. Now, we're hearing the chilling calls for help moments after.

One person was killed, and 12 others hurt when an elderly driver slammed into the classroom at the Pima Medical Institute.

As you can hear from the 911 call, no one saw the car coming. There was no time to move out of the way.

Caller: "This is Mesa we at 2150 South Power Road in Gilbert a vehicle drove through the window."

Operator: "Is the vehicle into window is that a business window?"

Caller: "It's the Pima Medical Institute."

Operator: "How bad are the injuries?"

Caller: "We have two people missing they're stuck behind the car because the car went through the glass."

Operator: "How many people are in the building?"

Caller: "There's 9 people in the building. We have 2 students pinned beneath the car right now."

Operator: "We have paramedic on the way."

Caller: "There's one person stuck in bad condition I don't think she can talk because she's underneath." Operator: "Can you tell if they are breathing?

Caller: "One of them is breathing the other we don't know, we can't tell they are unconscious."

One of the women pinned beneath the car was 22-year-old Lacey Guntorad. She did not survive.

The other was 20-year-old Haili Hill. She was sitting next to Lacey in the classroom. She did survive -- and was barely breathing as she waited for help.

Operator: "You're doing really good I just want everyone to try and stay calm we have help on the way."

The student on the phone then turns his attention to the elderly driver.

Caller: "The engine isn't on, breathe with me ma'am.... ma'am ma'am can you take off your sunglasses? Look at me then breathe with me. It's ok."

Police are continuing their investigation and have not said if they will recommend charges against the driver.
