More arrests in Va. teen's fatal stabbing

WOODBRIDGE, Va. -

More people have been arrested in the stabbing death of a high school football player. Four juveniles were part of the group with Kenny Diaz that was confronting Diandra Samuels. Police say the four were planning to rob Samuels in retaliation for the previous robbery on September 12th.

The four juveniles arrested were all 16 year old males of Woodbridge. All have been charged with attempted armed robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Prince William County Police said Wednesday that 19-year-old Airel Juanita Adams and 32-year-old Gibreal Jama Guled are being charged with abduction in the stabbing death Saturday of 18-year-old Kenny Diaz in a county park. On Thursday, officials said four 16-year-olds have also been arrested.

Multiple arrests have already been made in the case. A 19-year-old woman, Diandra Samuels of Woodbridge, was charged with murder and abduction in Diaz's death. Five other Woodbridge residents -- three women and two men ranging in age from 22 to 29 -- were also arrested and face lesser charges in the killing. They were arraigned Wednesday.

Police previously said the encounters leading up Diaz's death were drug-related. Twelve people have been arrested at this point.
