Metro train operator taken off job after opening wrong doors

SILVER SPRING, Md. - A Metro train operator has been taken off the job and could be disciplined after opening the doors on the wrong side of a train.

A rider tweeted a photo taken around 8:30 am Wednesday on the Red Line.

Metro says the train was stopped at the Silver Spring station when the operator made the mistake

No one was hurt.
