Toddler Feeds Paralyzed Mother

Posted: Updated:
JIANGSU, China -

After two and a half years in a coma, Zhang Rongxiang woke up to her son feeding her.

Zhang Rongxiang had a very bad vehicular accident, according to People's Daily, and doctors told her husband Gao Dejin that he would never see her awake again. Rongxiang was also four months pregnant with her son Gao Qianbo. Rongxiang would never see her son if the doctor's predictions were true.

But with the help of government subsistence and persistent love from her son and husband, Rongxiang recovered slowly and finally woke up.

Son Gao Qianbo often feeds his mother by chewing food up and putting it in her mouth. Although she cannot chew, Rongxiang can swallow, and little Qianbo makes it as easy as possible for her.
