CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

Trade students at Dakota High School started building a modular home in 2012. Monday it was moved in two parts to a foundation in Clinton Twp. where a mother and her two children will live. The boys tell Fox 2's Jason Carr they hope for a ninja turtle and a batman bedroom.

Carr was there as the family watched their home pull up onto its new land. Click on the video player above to see his report.

This is the seventh house Dakota High School students have built in partnership with Macomb Co. Habitat for Humanity. Funding was provided by Home Dollars from the Home Consortium and Clinton Twp. Partners with Habitat for Humanity will team up with new homeowners and teach them how to maintain a proper budget and homestead.
