People with memory impairment can finally dine out in a safe and relaxed place. The Frederick County Department of Aging partnered with local agencies and elder services providers to offer anyone affected by cognitive and physical impairments a monthly Memory Café luncheon.
Caregivers, families and friends of those affected are welcome to help promote social interaction, friendship and support. Health and social professionals will also be available to provide information and assistance.
The Memory Café will meet the third Friday of each month and starts September 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the Frederick Senior Center.
