Valley school sells "WTF" shirts for spirit week

Updated:

A valley school is selling T-shirts with an innuendo some parents are upset about.

North Pointe Preparatory, near 43rd Avenue and Peoria, is selling T-shirts that say "WTF" on the front for students to wear during spirit week. The school has students in 7th through 12th grade.

WTF is widely known to mean "What the F***," but the school says it stands for "We're the Falcons."

The principal reportedly came up with the slogan and design for the shirts.

Either way, the principal is taking some heat because some say it's sending the wrong message.

FOX 10 talked to a mother whose daughter goes to the school and she says she's a little on the fence about what the shirt says.

Would you let your child wear the shirt?
