PD: Man held at gunpoint during meet-up to sell Xbox

Updated:
GLENDALE, Ariz. -

One suspect was arrested after a group allegedly held a man at gunpoint when he arrived to sell them his Xbox at an apartment complex on Wednesday night.

Police say a man went to an apartment complex near 43rd Avenue and Peoria to meet someone who was interested in buying his Xbox.

He had posted an ad online trying to sell it.

When he got to the complex to make the sale, the victim told police he was held at gunpoint and robbed by three men.

They took his Xbox and other items.

Luckily the victim was able to get away and call the police.

Officers and SWAT searched for the suspects that robbed the man at gunpoint at the complex.

When police arrived to Teresa Wright's apartment, she says one of the men inside wouldn't come out. The man reportedly saw officers, but then held himself inside for hours.

Wright didn't say if or how she knew the suspect.

After negotiating for several hours, SWAT entered the apartment and was able to take the suspect into custody with the help of a K9.

Police say this situation should serve as a warning to anyone who sells items on sites like Craigslist.

The victim wasn't hurt, but the suspect was taken to a hospital. Police haven't said why yet.

Additional arrests are expected to be made in the case as they continue to investigate.
