Ex-NFL player's home trashed by partying teens

Posted: Updated:

Broken windows, holes in the walls, urine stains on the carpet -- that's what a former NFL offensive lineman came home to earlier this month.

Hundreds of teens threw a wild party at former New England Patriots' player Brian Holloway's vacant home in New York - and it all unfolded live on Twitter.

Holloway wasn't at the party, but thanks to the social media site, he pretty much knows what went down at his house and who was there.

Kids tweeted picture after picture, showing people on top of counters, teens posing with drinks in their hands -- some posts bragged about getting drunk, doing drugs and stealing from the home.

Other pictures showed graffiti and vandalism left behind -- a total of $20,000 of damages.

Around 300 kids from the Albany area partied and trashed the house until police finally got there and kicked everyone out.

But Holloway says he doesn't want to just punish or shame these kids by publishing their Twitter posts and pictures.  He's trying to turn this party into a turning point.

Holloway is now a motivational speaker.  He's calling on these kids to do the right thing -- take responsibility for their actions and turn their lives around.

He hopes his actions will prevent a drug or alcohol related death.
