Cherokee seeks help finding missing 57-year-old man

ACWORTH, Ga. -

Cherokee Sheriff's Office investigators are asking for your help to locate 57-year-old David Mazurek, of Powder Springs. They say he hasn't been seen since the night of September 5.

Authorities say Mazurek was last seen walking near the intersection of Highway 92 and Bells Ferry Road in Acworth. Mazurek, who may suffer from a diminished mental capacity, was last seen wearing gray pants, a black and gold shirt, leather deck shoes, a coral necklace and a white jacket with red and blue markings.

If you think you may have seen Mazurek or have information regarding his whereabouts, please call 911 or contact the Cherokee Sheriff's Office at 678-493-4080.
