Remembering 9/11, Then & Now In Photos

PHILADELPHIA -

Today, we pause to remember the almost 3,000 people killed in the September 11th attacks 12 years ago.

It's hard to believe it's been so long, but things in New York City have mostly been able to return to normal.

People continue to live in Manhattan, especially young people. A new World Trade Center has been constructed, and is 70% full. A new subway system is underway, and new structures are always being built.

On "Good Day Philadelphia" this morning, we took a look at some photographs that compared what things looked like then to how they appear now. You can see the comparisons in the video clip above.
