Whataburger, volunteers to serve food to mobile food pantry families

Updated:

Organizations are "Going Orange" on Thursday to raise awareness for Hunger Action Month.

If you look to Chase Tower, you'll see an orange glow on each Thursday night in September. The light serves to encourage others to take action against hunger.

Whataburger employees dressed in orange and volunteers will be serving food and orange bags to about 300 families to visit St. Mary's Mobile Pantry at the Community Hope Center each week.

Anyone who makes a 3-can donation to St. Mary's Food Bank, at either of their two locations, on Friday will get a free Whataburger.
