CLEARWATER, Fla. -

An 8-year-old boy who lost both his legs gets the chance to swim with the dolphin that inspires him.

Cieran Kelso traveled from England with his mom, dad and sister to visit Clearwater's Marine Aquarium.

While there, Kelso had the chance to swim with wWinter, star of the movie, "Dolphin Tale."

Kelso was just 1-year-old when he fell sick with meningitis, forcing doctors to amputate both his legs.

That was the same year Winter lost her tail.

Kelso's parents say he related instantly to the dolphin.

The experience took a year to plan, but it was kept top secret from Kelso and his sister.

They didn't find out until they got to the airport.
