PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix-based organization that is pushing for federal immigration reform is holding a series of forums around Arizona.

Promise Arizona will launch Saturday in Phoenix its four-city statewide, faith-based "Pilgrimage for Citizenship." The campaign will feature a series of informational community forums about the status of federal immigration reform. Forums are also scheduled for Yuma, Tucson and Prescott.

Grecia Lima, a senior organizer for Promise Arizona., said the Phoenix event will be moderated by local independent journalist and television personality Mary Rabago

In Yuma, Promise Arizona will partner with Father Javier Perez of Immaculate Conception Church for an informational forum scheduled Sunday. A border vigil also is set in the nearby community of San Luis on Sunday evening.
