OXON HILL, Md. -

Police in Prince George's County are investigating a four-car crash in Oxon Hill in which one man died.

Police say they were called to the 7400 block of Indian Head Highway around 3:30 a.m. Saturday and that arriving officers pronounced one of the drivers dead at the scene. Police say a preliminary investigation suggests the deceased driver was struck by another car shortly after making a U-turn. That crashed caused secondary collisions, and two other people were transported to hospitals to be treated for injuries. Those injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Police say alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash. An investigation is ongoing. Police did not release the name of the driver who died.
