Control kids' online activity on mobile devices with app

Updated:
PHOENIX -

Parents are getting cellphones for their children younger than ever. Although the phones are usually purchased to increase safety, the phones themselves still present dangers.

An app called Mobicip (Mobile Child Internet Protection) allows parents to swap out the web browser on your child's phone for a secure, filtered web browser.

Mobicip allows parents to choose which sites their child has access to in order to enforce the same boundaries they have on their home computers. The app can also be used to filter tablets.

The app is currently available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android (Beta), Windows
and Linux.

Social Media guru Jeff Moriarty explains all the features of Mobicip.
