ATLANTA -

A woman was paralyzed after being dropped by an unknown man at a Buckhead bar, police said.

According a police report, a 38-year-old woman was at Wet Willie's on Piedmont Road in Buckhead on August 3 when an unidentified man tried to pick her up. The woman repeatedly told him to stop, but he still lifted her off the ground, according to the report.  He then dropped the woman on her head and fell on top of her, the report said.

The woman could not move her arms and legs and was rushed to the hospital.

Police said the woman is being treated at Atlanta Medical Center for serious injuries and paralysis.

Authorities are not sure who the man was, but say he could be charged with assault and battery.
