PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer plans to travel to North Carolina and New Mexico next month to help with fundraising efforts for other Republicans.

The governor will serve as the headliner for a Sept. 14 fundraiser held by the Wake County Republican Party in Raleigh, N.C., and will make the keynote speech at a Sept. 27 fundraiser in Albuquerque for the New Mexico Republican Party.

The North Carolina party's website advertises the fundraiser with the photo of Brewer sticking her finger in President Obama's face on a Mesa airport tarmac in January 2012.

The Arizona Capitol Times reports (http://bit.ly/1451j3V) that Brewer hasn't done much traveling out of state to raise money for fellow Republicans since the 2012 election cycle.
