Rescue crews pull the body of a 25 yr old swimmer in Anacostia

BLADENSBURG, Md. -

Prince George's County Fire Department have recovered the body of a 25 yr old man from the Anacostia River

According to the fire department's PIO Mark Brady three people were reported in the water in the area of Bladensburg Marina around 2:30pm Saturday afternoon. 

Once on scene, crews reported that two people were out of the water but one of them was still missing and presumed underwater

Brady says three men who are related to each other were swimming when one of them experienced distress and went under. The two other men searched for him but were unable to find him.

DC Fire department assisted in the search.
