Man, woman wounded in possible drive-by shooting

A man and woman were wounded in a possibly drive-by shooting Friday afternoon on the South Side.

The 34-year-old man and woman were shot just before 1:10 p.m. in the 9000 block of South Marshfield Avenue, police said.

The man was shot in the buttocks and the woman suffered a graze wound to the leg, police said. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and the woman refused treatment.

Area South detectives are investigating the shooting as a possible drive-by attack.
