CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

For a second day in a row, people in north suburban Deerfield are being told to boil their water.

Village officials say fecal bacteria was discovered in the water on Monday and it's still unknown where the contamination came from.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food. Officials say it is okay to bathe in the water.

The boil order is in effect through Wednesday afternoon.
