PHILADELPHIA -

Police say they have images of two men they believe are involved in a string of high stakes thefts all over the city.

Police say the man wearing the motorcycle helmet may be the ringleader of up to a team of 6 men using heavy tools to break into 10 ATMs at banks and pharmacy's from the Northeast to South Philadelphia. All of the break-ins were near the I-95 corridor for easy escape.

"They are using crow bars; we know they have blow torches and we know they have grinders to use to break open these safes and doors," says Lt. John Walker.

One man has been identified as 37-year-old Dennis Woods who also goes by Dennis Boyce. He's got addresses in South Philadelphia and Deptford, New Jersey.

The crimes are similar: a dark SUV pulls up, phone and alarm lines are cut, then hours later, a second team moves in for the heist by breaking in or burning through the ATMs.

The were seen on surveillance video last month during a break-in at a Rite Aid on Frankford Avenue. Police tell us they got away empty handed in that case. But in 3 of the 10 successful attempts, they're suspected of stealing well over $100,000 in cash.

"To me, they look like a bunch of amateurs. But they are organized to do the things they need to do to keep police from coming," says Lt. Walker.

A 17 member city and federal task force has been established to catch these guys. If you know any of these guys call Philadelphia Police at 215-686-tips.
