1st Lt. Malcolm Heath welcomed home, Capt. Kevin Heath recognized

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A northwest suburban man who just finished serving a tour in Afghanistan received a big, warm homecoming celebration over the weekend.

Family, friends and even strangers gathered in Crystal Lake to welcome home 1stLieutenant Malcolm Heath.

He was deployed to Afghanistan last November. As you can imagine, Heath said he is happy to finally be home and be with his family. However, that's not all he misses.

"I definitely miss being able to choose what to wear every day," 1st Lt. Malcolm Heath said. "I get out of bed, look at my closet, well what do I want to wear? Back over there is like, "'Do I want to wear my multi-cams today or my other set of multi-cams I have right there?"

Sunday's celebration also recognized Heath's brother Kevin, who is an Army captain

In the past, Kevin Heath has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.
