Former Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh has been missing from the Motor City for weeks. Now, there are reports he's been spotted in New York City.

Charles Pugh is said to have been spotted more than 600 miles to our east. There are no photos, no evidence like the day he was seen in a Seattle coffee shop in June. But, we spoke to a man who's confident he knows where Pugh was Friday night.

He's been MIA since June and we haven't heard a peep from former city council president Charles Pugh. The Seattle sighting in July left us guessing and apparently Pugh is still traveling.

"I had assumed that either he was still in Seattle as previous reports had indicated or maybe he just came back to Detroit," says Aaron Foley, a contributor to Jalopnik.com, an automobile news and gossip blog. "New York City was honestly the last place I think we all expected him to be."

Foley claims to have an inside track on Pugh's whereabouts. Two of his friends from Detroit spotted Pugh at a restaurant in Harlem, eating alone and "looking miserable." The news has Detroiters puzzled. Some would like him to come back and address allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a teen he mentored. As a result of his disappearance, Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr stripped Pugh of his pay and his power. A criminal investigation involving Pugh was suspended indefinitely.

Fox 2 called the restaurant where Pugh was allegedly spotted.  OR NOT.
