DC police identify 4-year-boy who died after found unconscious

WASHINGTON -

D.C. police have identified a child who died after being found unconscious in Northeast D.C. on Monday.

Police say they responded to the 5600 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE, at around 2:05 p.m., and found 4-year-old Kamari Zavon Taylor unconscious.

The child was transported to Children’s National Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner has yet to rule a cause of death.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
