Posted: Updated:

City of Fairfax Police responded to a deadly car crash just after noon today.

A 29 year old driver crashed into the outside of a T-Mobile store on Fairfax Boulevard just east of the Kamp Washington intersection.

Police tell us the driver was at a red light and once it turned green he sped across 3 lanes of traffic, left the roadway and struck a building.

The driver was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say it appears he wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash..

There were no other occupants in the vehicle and nobody else was injured at the scene.
