CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -

Four people who allegedly fled from Clayton County police were arrested on Friday.

According to the Clayton County Police Department, officers using a tag reading device got a "stolen hit" on a 1998 Honda Accord around 3:50 p.m. Police said the driver of the vehicle refused to pull over.

The vehicle then drove into a fast food restaurant parking lot on Highway 85 in Riverdale, where three occupants of the vehicle fled. The driver stayed with the vehicle, according to authorities.

Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspects after a pursuit.

The driver of the vehicle, Cameron Pitts, 18, is charged with theft by receiving motor vehicle, obstruction, driving while unlicensed, reckless driving, financial transaction card fraud, identity fraud and theft of lost or mislaid property.

Dauntavious Hardeman, 18, as well as Deonte Eppinger and D'Antra Collins, both 17, were charged with obstruction and theft by receiving motor vehicle.

Authorities said that the vehicle was related to a carjacking that occurred in Fulton County.
